UX: Interaction Design
Interaction design is a major component of the field of user experience. It incorporates information architecture and usability to define how a product will behave. Good interaction design considers a user’s goals, her context, and her understanding of the world in order to present an interface the user easily understands.
In this unit, we’ll have a look at the practice and principles of interaction design. You’ll get an introduction to the field of interaction design, and then get started on the main project in the course — designing an app for a fictional client.
This is a four-week course in interaction design, covering topics like usability, heuristics, design patterns, information architecture, content strategy, user flows, wireframing, and more!
